Wonder what might happen if you bare your insecurities on the web to friends and strangers alike? With considerably less crying, Eric and Deanne address the reaction to the last episode and share how things have been going.
The title "5 O'Clock in the Morning" was born from the conversational shorthand that Deanne and I have had from the first time we got together and talked all night. By the time it was 5:00 A.M., we were so tired we couldn't keep walls up and we just spoke from the heart. For about 20 years, whenever we are about to put ourselves in a vulnerable position, we recall that night and say, "5 o'clock in the morning?" And the other acknowledges by repeating, "5 o'clock in the morning."
Last night, Deanne and I, in one of those moments of vulnerability, decided to pull out the mics. Some people find blogs are a good way to share their struggles and help document their goals with an added level of public accountably. That just seems like a lot of typing.
This one's pretty raw, but it's about as honest as it gets.
In this episode, Eric and "J" demonstrate their less than encyclopedic knowledge of the origins of Rap, make a heartfelt call for calls, and commit to running through fire together.
In this very special holiday episode of 5 O'Clock in the Morning, Laura Romito of Taste-Full Tours/Blog teaches Eric all about prepping and carving a turkey, and in the process... saves Thanksgiving.
